In “Obsecion”, Raul Jaurena and Tango Five merge influences from tango, jazz and gypsy. Within the group consisting of bandoneon, violin, clarinet, piano and double bass, an exciting way of approaching each other from various musical angles develops. The bandoneon moves tango into the center, the gypsy violin takes the lead in collective improvisations and the clarinet combines melancholy and yearning with exuberant joie de vivre.
